The Pattern, Clinical Manifestations, Tongue/Pulse of Liver. You do not need to know the etiology or the pathology.

You also only need to know these points for certain patterns:

• Liver Qi Stagnation
• Liver Qi Stagnation turning into Heat
• Liver Fire Blazing
• Liver Blood Stasis
• Liver Blood Deficiency
• Liver Yin Deficiency
